so there i was sitting on my bed engrossed
in the middle of my thoughts on the things that i prepetrated
on that fateful day.
look at the clock, its five.
i switched off the lights, then the screaming radio
and laid in bed pretending everything's fine
tired, my eyes closed.
i'm happy to be alive as the sun shines
i am a student and a sports enthusiast.
still loving short hair, ruggedness and intelligence.
pride is smart.ego is king.
it doesnt help the fact that my name is 'fadzly'.

my friends are never shy in acknowledging to worthy ladies that they are good-looking, hot, gorgeous or if they simply have a wonderful personality. so i decided to leak out something really controversial:

yesterday's tuition with Mrs Goh was fulfilling.she allowed us to voice out our thoughts abt having stress.my classmates were complaining that their teachers are giving them a lot of homework(not me.if mr menon tries to give a lot of homework,my class will be grumbling and requested mr menon to lessen the amount of homework.mr menon will sometimes accept our request for the so obvious and not so obvious reasons.)well, since the whole class is joining forces to go on 'strike',i'll jolly well join them.
and so Mrs Goh gave us an article about children and adolescents having pure pressure.some said that sudents these days are pretty taxed.parents put them in all sors of classes-piano,guitar,swimming,ballet.well,to me.parents nowadays have found the fast formula by making them attend attend motivational talks,confidence-building courses or leadership camps or whatsoever instead of allowing the kids develop inquisitive minds by asking themselves intriguing questions.
i agree that it is essential for developing life skills but such acivities should not take away time spent in nurturing the child. even i have to wake up early, study for long hours and attend co- curricular acivities and tuition classes.yet, they insist on enrichment courses.
and so my classmate, Wei Jia, contributed in telling the solution.
solution:organise field trips or outingto spend family qualiy time together and give us(the young ones)a break.or make a one-to-one talk wih your parents to understand each other.
ok.after that,we talk about we giving ourselves pressure.i usually felt i did not make enough revision for myself that i study until late at night.hence, adding pressure to myself.Mrs Goh said that i am use to study everyday to revise on the topics.(wah,i didn know i'm so diligent.) so Zheng Jie said we must have enough rest.so i motivated myself to get a good amount of rest.
and yes, here's the topic what my class had been waiting for.
HOMEWORK.....
unfortunately, the tuition class has ended.althuogh we felt rather disappointed,we hope that all this complain will be sent to the press and see that they can publish it in the newspaper.
i also hoped that the teachers and parents will understand what we want: R.E.S.T

today was so fun.my father brought me to Home Team Academy(his working place) for an open house there. My father told me to wait at his office while he went to see his friends.my brother and I switched on my father's laptop.but too bad, there's no internet excess.i think the police force wanted to do that in order for the trainees not to hav pornography.and the internet at my father's laptop is called INTRANET.(????)it is all about the Home Team Academy etc only.sigh.since there's a lot of "rules" in the laptop,i switched off the laptop.
and then, my father called my brother and I to watch the parade.my father told me that we will be having VIP seats.now that's cool.we rushed into the lift and there was a lot of muscular guys.yea..they were holding helmets and some other equipments.the lift went up.my borther and I were puzzled.my father grinned.when the lift opened,i realised that i was at the top of the building.the men who were in the lift with me were the specialist for repelling down the building.some of them were from the police prison unit called 'Spears' and SCDF rescue unit called 'The Samaritans'.The rest were from the police force tactical unit.so the VIP seats were at the top of the building.cool huh?one of my father's colleagues brought some souveniers for us. the souveniers were just a book , a bookmark and neWATER.
my father introduced us to the specialist.i shook hands with them and man, powerful grip!i felt very honoured to meet them.after that, the parade was going to start. my father informed me to go to the next building to have a clear view of the parade.and so the parade started.
first, there was a samba performance by the HTA band. and then the marching paradew by the trainees.followed by the arrival of the guest-of-honour.after that was my favourite part, the demonstration by the specialist.dude...they were great.rock on.then, it was another demonstration by the police tactical team.they threw fake bombs and showed how they controlled a real riot.to end the parade, there were confetties and small sparks.
yea..my brother and I enjoyed the parade.and i hope i could be like the specialist.but there's one thing that will stop me. my fear of heights. T.T
