so there i was sitting on my bed engrossed
in the middle of my thoughts on the things that i prepetrated
on that fateful day.
look at the clock, its five.
i switched off the lights, then the screaming radio
and laid in bed pretending everything's fine
tired, my eyes closed.
i'm happy to be alive as the sun shines
i am a student and a sports enthusiast.
still loving short hair, ruggedness and intelligence.
pride is smart.ego is king.
it doesnt help the fact that my name is 'fadzly'.

A song which sing to the tune of "You'll never walk alone"(composer: seri) :
"When you run on the track You know we are ayour back If you are, still trailing, from the rest, Don't worry this is a test Remember we are here And never fail to cheer all along Go on, start sprinting Don't ever, stop running Though you are, still trailing, slowing
Run on, sprint on With hopes in our heart And we'll never walk alone Never walk alone"
I was utter inspired.
and so yesterday's much anticipated sports carnival was quite a great start for 1/1's goal to be known in the sec 1 level(just like the x-country).here's our acheivements:
the atmosphere at the stadium was awesome.it was nice to be able to experience the verbally supportive nature of the events.i was just confused when before the 100m finals, xian long and i can't stand to have a glimpse of each other but after that we were like gd buddies.the outcome of the events also showed that how athletes/players came about of blaming each other when they lost.this is common as we have the uter feeling of winning in glory and losing is not an answer.oh well, glad that my classmates are just quite fine.
to all 1/1-ers, it is not anybody's fault that we los teh champion class title.i think we did quite enough to create history.i am very proud !

the heats went well for me. i now need to straighten up my run properly for the finals. it's really awesome to have those muscle strains back with those aches here and there. it really hurts when your body muscles, especially your abdomen area cramps up .i've never pushed myself to the extent of really getting mentally and physically tired to the point of running a lot and playing volleyball a lot in the same day.
i was glad that lao boon and i managed to qualify to the finals in the 100m race. a big blow for abdu as he almost qualified, taking up the 3rd positon in 100m and 400m. i was inspired that he still had the will to run despite suffering a calf injury. tian ning clinched a gold for the 400 m after taking the lead from behind.i was very proud that lekha and anees tried their best.i was uber surprised that some of my classmates came to support us.
i will put my pride on the line on friday after the scrifice shown during the heats.

outings with buddies adriel, ivan, abdu, lao boon, larry, jie kang and some other peeps taught me many new chinese words, jokes and slangs. sometimes, an added malay-ness is good for a change. for instance,'ho-lu-si'' (did i spell it correctly?) is a word which we use to scare your opponents to go and die and make sure he will not return the shuttle cock back during a badminton game. i got to know the different techniques of playing both basketball and badmiton, the current trends and practise befoe the tournament that tian ning requested me to participate . maybe i should do a marathon after yesterday (although i'm still not that good in cross-country just as yet)
"ho-lu-si!"
ha-ha.

my apologies everyone for my long absence.i'm blogging because i have time to kill today.no cca for the past few weeks definitely means that i'm relatively free and less prone to fatigue nowadays.
the last two days has been horribly bad, really. i suffered enough after-effects when i displaced my blood vessels of my right hand during soccer in the afternoon undr the ridiculous hot weather. i was trying to save the ball from boucing out of the court so i did a bicycle kick(it was successful) but my palm landed with a loud thud.it was rather ironic that i didn't feel any pain when i continued the play.but the excruciating part comes when i used my right hand to carry my bag.i was uber lucky that my arm wasn't fractured but unlucky that the pain disrupted my sleep. i'm just glad that it's over. but i'm quite satisfied with the week.i got my much needed sleep and revision for the exams that are 75% complete.hah, im as delighted as michael owen now.
