What an exciting day for Singapore today! The atmosphere is damn awesome. Yeap, Singapore had been announced to be suitable to be the host city of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in 2010.(nodding head in benign amusement) I was skeptical about the whole bidding process but after reading the announcement to you guys this morning, I felt patriotic. I believed that the government had done a great job due to their commitment and determination. I guess this whole thing is essential for bringing the world’s youths together in a harmonious spirit of sharing and learning the new relationships from diverse background.

I felt that there is no greater joy found in the effort of coming together as a country, knowing that we have given our best in the whole bid process. singapore has become more notable as a small antion with big ambitions.

And what came to my mind was the games that we played, i felt that it can educate youth through sport in a spirit of friendship without discrimination. It gave me a feeling of how Olympic games infuse these qualities. overall, today’s event helped to sum up the whole day as we had our last common test today.
